^Overview:

^{A member of the Walden Sportsmen's Club is expected to conduct himself/herself as a true sportsman/sportswoman at all times, work for the good of the club, be aware of existing game laws and follow those laws carefully. He/She should work to sharpen his/her skills and always keep safety in mind while using any sporting implement. He/She should strive to preserve our rights under the Second Amendment. He/She is encouraged to support any organization, which works for the good of sportsmen/sportswomen.}

^{ELIGIBILITY: At least 18 years of age. MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL RIFLE} 

^{ASSOCIATION. The membership committee prior to presentation to the club screens applicants.}

^{RIGHTS: To hold office, vote, use range, club and adjoining land; to hunt property posted by the club after obtaining landowners-permission; to bring one guest at a time to use the shooting facilities, to have spouse and children under 18, or age 22, who are full time students or in the Armed Services.}

^{OBLIGATIONS: To pay dues ($120/year), to attend as many meetings as possible; to encourage all others to be good sportsmen; to work for the benefit of the club as a whole; to work the required 15 hours. Work hours not met are charged at $10 per hour. Example: 15 hours X $10= $150 + $120 Annual Dues= $270.00 due. Work hours are due by the end of August meeting.}

 ^{* 2) A waiting list is set up by the postmark on mailed application; there are a Limited number of openings.}

^{* 3) A $150.00 initiation fee must be submitted with the application. If your membership is rejected it will be returned to you. Make checks payable to the Walden Sportsmen's Club. Those applications received without the initiation fee will be rejected.}

^{Meeting are held at 7 P.M. on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the clubhouse. The new membership meeting are the second Thursday of March and October of each year. Orientation meeting is the Sunday before the meeting of March and October of each year at 12::00 P.M. YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH ORIENTATION AND MEMBERSHIP MEETING. There are no exceptions. The club is located about 5.0 miles west of Walden, on the left side of Rt.52 as you head towards Pine Bush.}
